Quality and Reliability
for 50 Years
Fred Wick and his family have been cultivating trees and shrubs for over 50 years.... Quail Run continues to strive to meet its goal of becoming one of the Mid-Atlantic's finest suppliers of b&b trees, shrubs and evergreens. We are exploring new and what I consider exciting ways of growing top quality “landscape ready” products. Our rootmaker system for liner and finished product production is increasing in size and quantity. Our customers are already experiencing the exceptional transplanting capabilities this system can provide.

Another introduction to our growing options is a bag growing system using a product called FANNTUM bags. Presently this system is in limited production with plans to expand, within the next few years to a full line of products. The main objective with our above ground system is to produce better quality plant material available for sale during summer and fall sales periods. Next summers’ projection, in these growing systems, is a plant availability upwards 4,000 trees. We are also working on a container line of 3g, 5g and 7g for flowering shrubs and some evergreens.

Keep in mind that we have the ability to ship from northern Virginia up through New England, going west to Illinois or even more south to Kentucky.

As always we feel the best way to experience what Quail Run Nursery can offer is a visit. Please feel free to visit us anytime during the year.

Thank you again for your patronage and support,

Delivery Service
We have an arrangement with a trucking service that will deliver trailer loads of plant material. Freight is net, payable upon receipt of shipment. Unload deliveries as quickly as possible. Our policy is to schedule loads with enough lead time to deliver, unload, and return to our nursery early enough to make reloading possible. We appreciate your cooperation in this effort.
If your preference is to pick up your order instead of shipping, we will notify you by telephone when it is ready. The labor for loading and covering your order is our responsibility, however we do not provide tarpaulins. Please make note of the stipulations for pick up by customers. Arrive before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise arranged. After 3:00 p.m. we will not load. We do not load during the lunch hour, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pick up orders not picked up will be invoiced within five days of notification. We are not accountable for material not picked up in this time frame.

We assume no liability for delays or failure to fill orders due to causes beyond our control. Please submit cancellations of plant orders in writing. Retail Sales Tax

Maryland Law requires us to collect a 6% sales tax. Unless we have some form of tax exemption subsequent to invoicing, we have to charge this tax on all orders shipped or picked up within the state of Maryland. Examples of tax exemption forms that we accept are: Maryland Resale Certificate, Exempt Use Certificate, Exempt Organization Certificate, Direct Payment Permit or form of identification that the purchaser is a governmental agency. Deliveries to out-of-state customers are tax exempt.
